DELIVERY TERMS
Updated: 6 March 2026
1. General
These delivery terms apply to orders placed in the Turku Divers online store (www.turkudivers.fi). By placing an order, you accept these terms. The terms are valid in Finland and throughout the European Union.
Seller: Turku Divers (hereinafter "the seller")
Online store: www.turkudivers.fi
2. Placing an Order
An order is confirmed when the customer completes the checkout process and receives an order confirmation by email. The seller reserves the right to cancel an order if a product is out of stock or if there is an obvious pricing error. The customer will be notified without delay in such cases.
3. Delivery
3.1 Delivery Method
Orders are shipped via Posti Oy (Finland Post). Packages are delivered to the address provided by the customer or to the nearest Posti collection point.
3.2 Delivery Time
The standard delivery time within Finland is 5–14 business days from order confirmation. Delivery times are estimates, and the seller is not responsible for delays caused by Posti. During exceptional demand or force majeure events, delivery times may be extended.
3.3 EU Delivery
We deliver throughout the EU. Delivery times to EU countries vary by destination and may be longer than domestic deliveries. Under EU single market rules, no additional customs duties apply to shipments between EU member states.
3.4 Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are clearly displayed in the shopping cart before the order is confirmed. The cost depends on the weight, size, and destination country of the order.
4. Packaging and Transfer of Risk
The seller ensures that products are appropriately packaged for transportation. Risk transfers to the customer once the package has been received by the customer. We recommend inspecting the package upon receipt. If the package shows visible damage, file a complaint immediately in the presence of a Posti representative.
5. Undelivered or Lost Package
If a package does not arrive within the stated delivery time, the customer should:
• Check the package tracking information on the Posti website using the tracking code
• Check whether an uncollected package is waiting at a collection point
• Contact Turku Divers customer service
The seller will assist in the investigation process with Posti for lost packages.
6. Right of Withdrawal (Consumer Customers)
In accordance with the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) and the Finnish Consumer Protection Act, consumers have the right to withdraw from a distance sale order within 14 days of receiving the goods without giving any reason.
Refund will be paid using the original payment method that was used to make the purchase
6.1 Notice of Withdrawal
The right of withdrawal must be exercised in writing by contacting our customer service before the 14-day period expires. You may use the EU model withdrawal form or send a free-form notice.
6.2 Return of Goods
The customer bears the cost of return shipping unless the product is defective. The product must be in its original packaging and in unused condition. Returns are processed within 14 days of receiving the returned item.
6.3 Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to, among others:
• Sealed hygiene products whose seal has been broken
• Customised or made-to-order products
• Digital content where delivery has already commenced
7. Defective or Damaged Product
If the product you received is defective or damaged, please contact our customer service within 14 days of receipt. Please include:
• Order number
• Description of the defect or damage
• Photographs of the defect or damage
Compensation or replacement for defective products will be agreed on a case-by-case basis in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act.
8. Prices and Payment
All prices include value-added tax (VAT) in accordance with current Finnish legislation. For EU consumers, prices always include VAT. Prices may change without prior notice, but the price valid at the time of order confirmation is binding.
9. Privacy
We process your personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, 2016/679). Data is used for processing and delivering orders. We do not share your data with third parties without your consent, except with shipping companies required for delivery (Posti Oy). For more information, please see our Privacy Policy.
10. Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution
These delivery terms are governed by Finnish law. Disputes are primarily resolved through negotiation. If no settlement is reached, consumer customers may refer the matter to:
• The Consumer Disputes Board (www.kuluttajariita.fi)
• The European Commission’s ODR platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr) for cross-border EU disputes
